MG Zaku II Char Custom Ver.2.0

Been awhile since last update. Busy with work and CnY already had my Zaku II done but have been lazy to do updates.


Same as the Rx-78-2 the structure is kinda complicated. Esp the the few strings of beads took me alot of time to sand it to nicely.


All left the hands and weapons.

Plain and simple. nice nice... the char custom stand add more marks to it. Why dont amuro get his stand too?

MG Rx-78-2 Ver 2.0

Amuro Ray's first Gundam. Supposed to be a nicely done but was screwed by me after assemble it.

It may look simple on the outside but when you start doing it, it's not that simple

It took me one week to finish all these. Am very careful and make sure every parts are sand/file nicely/properly. Spent my time and effort on it, things were going smoothly. Took a break on weekend and do SD Sangookuden.





Finally after the hard work, the product is out. Very happy and satisfied, made sure all the parts are done correctly and nicely. All its left are the stickers and transfers. Just before doing it i decided to use Tamiya liquid cement to cover the seam lines. Who knows... its my first time trying it out.I actually ruined the whole kit. The worst thing is i broke the front chest piece into half! Felt very sad and demoralised by the mistake i have done. Took a break for a day and then back to saving the kit. Slept late for 2 nights and i finally done my very best to let it look normal again.





Quickly apply stikers and transfer. Then put it up on display already, i dont wanna cause anymore damage to it. I like this kit alot due to its flexibility. Partly because i am a perfectionist too. I can't take any more failure for this kit. If not it will not match up my next upcoming Char Custom Zaku II. I expect my skill to get better everytime i finished a kit. For the past Gundams i have done, i learn from the mistakes and make sure i don't repeat again.

Let's pray the next one which is Zaku II will be better than Rx-78-2. Because for Sinaju and Unicorn i really expect no mistakes from it.

End of week 1

After so many things going on. Its only passed the first week ++ of 2009. I dont really count in the first few days. That's not even A week.

So lets re-cap abit of what i've done for the past one week and more.

Just after work, rushed to the usual hobby shop to grab some Gunpla. This time i got the Char Custom Zaku II:



Great NYE celebration @ zouk. Crazy drinking and partying away the night away, causing overspending in the end. Was at work friday, couldnt get a clear off so no long weekend.

Met up with gerald at taka again on friday. Yes we been going there very often now. I couldn't resist the temptation the toy dept is offering. 20% off all gundam items. So that night i decided to take the plunge. I am going to collect SD Sangokuden series. It's is gonna be a expensive investment. For Sangokuden i cfm need the markers. I dont wan my gundam to look plain. It's not like NG or Mg that bandai had already paint the kits for ya.

Sat met up with gerald at suntec purely for dinner only. Walked around the places to look for gundams. Who knows.... i saw this offer at Toy R Us! Zhao Yun and Kong Ming as a package. So after minus off zhao yun's price, kong ming is selling at 8 dollars discount. This kind of offer cannot skip one lo!

That's all for this month Sangokuden quest. Time to start my Zaku II and hopefully start Sinaju before CnY comes. I am planning to stay at home and do Sinaju for the whole of CnY. Not gonna go out.

For the rest of the month must stay low profile. I really really really overspent too much this month! Time to watch the last show for today and go to sleepz. Tomorrow is another new week of the one year war.

After a long tiring week. It's time for some shopping therapy! This week seems short but everyday seems to be very long. OT everyday and it's voluntarily, if u get what i meant.

Got a call from them yesterday saying that Sinaju is in store now. So freaking happi la, but they only keep it for one week cuz their store is jammed packed now. First thing come into my mind. Store jammed pack with new Gundam stocks. YuM YuM~ i surely get more than sinaju.

Soon after work, took bus 66 to Sim lim nearby and took a slow walk to sunshine plaza. Qiuckly go there grab my thingy and headed home.

For my SD Sangokuden. Each kit need tons of gold so better prepare a spare one. Was told the Sangokuden Gold marker is special one. Only have it in the set, Bandai really know how to leech our $$ lo. The owner of the shop told me i m not the only one looking fora Sangokuden Gold marker that sold separately.

Now... i must keep it in cupboard until i got my Char custom Zaku II done. Sinaju will be my CnY project. heh heh...

Oh yah..just now on my way back. Took bus 960 as usual, this uncle that sat beside me. He got on juz one bus stop after me. He's been talking to himself loudly throughout the whole journey. And... the traffic got jammed on the expressway, wah... really irritating de lo. Want to sleep also cannot, listen to mp3 also cannot cover his voice, Sit until my back ache also.

Time to go do my SD Zhao Yun and Kong Ming. Build up the mood for Red cliff 2 too. LoL~
